How do I know I am suitable for treatment?

Doctors will then create a programme of treatment for optimum restoration.
There are two types of FUE hair transplants: Manual FUE and Robotic FUE.
A Manual FUE hair transplant is done by a physician using a handheld device to extract the individual hair follicles.
A Robotic FUE procedure uses a robotic hair transplant device that is guided by the physician. The physician selects the amount of hair desired for harvesting and maps out the desired donor area. The physician does not actually harvest the donor grafts; the harvesting step is completed by the ARTAS robot. This medical marvel of technology offers unparalleled precision and accuracy.
What happens during treatment?
During the procedure, a strip of skin with healthy hair will be removed from an anaesthetized area of your scalp (the donor area), typically at the back of the head. This strip is then placed under a specially designed high-powered microscope so that our team of experts can meticulously select out individual hair follicle units as they naturally occur, (in collections of 1 to 4 hairs). The grafts are then placed in a chilled solution of Hypothermasol and ATP, to store them until Dr. David Lieberman and Dr. Sachin Parikh is ready to transplant them.
In the meantime, the donor area of your scalp will be stitched closed and is usually covered by surrounding donor hair, which means that the incision will not be seen. The stitches will later be removed (after around 10 to 14 days) and the donor area is left to heal with a small scar. This is usually not seen if covered by longer hair styles (grade 4 and above).
To transfer the hair to the recipient sight, Our doctors will make very tiny incisions in to the area of concern and this determines the angle, direction and density of the hair to be transplanted. The follicle grafts are then inserted in to the recipient areas using minuscule forceps.
To achieve the most natural and pleasing look, Our doctors takes extreme care to position and distribute these follicular units in a way so that they blend in keeping with your own, natural hair growth.
Does it hurt?
Before the procedure commences, you will be treated with a local anaesthetic, making FUT a painless and comfortable procedure.
How long does the procedure take?
Depending on the size of the area to be treated and the number of grafts that need to be transplanted, Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) can take between 4 and 12 hours.
hen can I see results?
You can expect to start to see the new hairs grow at approximately 4 months after the treatment. This hair growth will continue to thicken over the first 10 to 15 months. As time passes, the hair will continue to grow in the same way as the hair in the donor area, thus creating a fuller, thicker head of hair.
