NeoGraft

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is the pinnacle of surgical hair restoration procedures today, and NeoGraft represents the biggest advancement for the already revolutionary method. We are proud to offer state-of-the-art hair restoration with the NeoGraft hair transplant system to our Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale patients.

What is the FUE technique?

Simply put, FUE involves the collection and transplantation of thousands of individual follicular units from healthy donor areas on the scalp. While this effort can be made by hand, NeoGraft improves on the manual technique by using a negative pressure system to precisely and rapidly extract each hair follicle. The hair follicles are removed completely intact with minimal trauma to the surrounding scalp.

Which is better FUE or FUT hair transplant?

The FUE process is better than follicular unit transplant (FUT) for many patients because it truly minimizes scarring, eliminating the need for long incisions, sutures, or staples, and allowing patients to comfortably wear their hair short in the future. The results are frequently lauded for their natural look, and the procedure is less invasive than similar methods, resulting in preservation of sensation in the donor area and much quicker recovery time.

How long is recovery after a NeoGraft FUE hair transplant?

Our patients report returning to work soon after the procedure, and in some instances, within 72 hours of the procedure.

Top Reasons Why NeoGraft Is The Solution

  • It is the least invasive procedure for the hair transplantation
  • No stitches or staples are used in the NeoGraft procedure
  • Quick recovery time
  • Natural looking results
  • Patients can typically go back to work the next day
